AG4Tech Limited was established in January 2020 and provides business management and technical consulting services to help you find the right solutions that will drive your business forwards.

The founder, Andrew Gooda CEng, has worked in the UK chemicals and advanced materials industries for over 30 years in a range of technical and managerial roles up to Director level. He is a member of the IMechE and the IET, as well as the IoD.

He graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1985, and subsequently gained an MBA from Durham University Business School in 2002. This was followed by a PGCert in Sustainable Business from Cambridge University in 2006. In 2019 he gained a Certificate of Company Direction from the IoD.

 

Andrew joined ICI in 1985 and worked in several engineering, production, and commercial roles before becoming Site Director for one of ICI’s speciality natural chemicals manufacturing sites at Bromborough, which was part of the Uniqema business unit. He joined Croda in 2006 when they purchased the Uniqema business, continuing as site Director until 2009.

 

In 2010 he joined Nanoco Technologies as Manufacturing Director, where he led the commercial scale up of cadmium free quantum dot technology. He then went on to lead the commercial scale-up of nanomaterials for NIR imaging applications. He also held functional leadership for supply chain, quality, EHS, regulatory affairs and engineering until leaving at the end of 2019 and founding AG4Tech Limited.

 

He was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) from 2012-2019, serving as Non-Executive Chairman from 2016-2019. Over this period he recruited a new DG and ensured that the organisation was returned to growth and sound finances.
